Make it Monday! Leather fringe Necklace

Happy Monday once again makers!

I hope you are all well! Today I will show you how to make this cute little leather fringe necklace! I feel that I might just have to make a few of these in different sizes and colours ready for the summer! They are super easy and fun to do. It was so rewarding cutting through that leather... do you know what I mean?!  Well anyway, I hope you enjoy my little corner of make it Monday!

Leather

Acrylic paint

A chain

Jump rings

Paint brush

Hole punch

Scissors

Sellotape

And that's all you have to do!

Make it Monday! Flower sunglasses!

Now! Here it is guys! My super super easy sunglasses tutorial! I think they make a fun addition to everyone's wardrobe and that you ALL should have some :)

An old pair of sunglasses

Fake flower heads

And a glue gun!

Tada!

Diy: Show an old camera some love!

My boyfriend and I have a terrible obsession with cameras, new, old, broken and working. I suppose I could have just said all camera.. And not just the actual camera, all the accessories too. The straps, lenses, cases, anyway I digress. Today I'm showing this particular camera some love.

Materials:

-About 1/2 metre woven tape

-Masking tape

-Paints

-Bag hooks

-A camera I suppose!

-Paintbrush

Make it Monday! Chevron Coasters!

Hello fellow makers!

As you all know today is another Make it Monday! Also... as you all know I love me some Chevrons. So here is another easy and quick tutorial for you to do :) Enjoy!

What you'll need:

Hama beads in your choice of colours

Peg board

An Iron

Greaseproof paper

1. Design your pattern, choice your shape and size!

 2. Repeat!

 3. Cover with greaseproof paper and heat iron

 4. Press one side until beads melt together slightly

 5. This is with one side pressed! (It can be left like this..

but I prefer it smooshed!)

 6. Examples of my three designs

(top two one side pressed, bottom both sides ironed!)

 7. Leave to cool under something heavy (and heatproof!)

to make sure your coaster stays flat

There you go!

How easy was that??! Now I'm having a pretty stressful week and doing these totally made my day! I got to sit down and do something for myself. It's that stressful "end of year" time of year so I wish you all the best of luck with exams etc! Don't forget to do something for you every now and again!

Dull feet- Chevron shoes!

On the train yesterday I thought to myself "GEEZ, how boring are your FEET?!"

 (example above.. no one would look at those babies and think MUSTHAVE, WANT or even STEAL( and i'm not condoning stealing and I never would but sometimes those shoes are just to much for wanting a stronger verb is required to show your desire, ARE YOU WITH ME?!) )

So I concocted a plan for shiny new cheap shoes!!! I picked up a new pair of white tennis shoes for around £2.50- a bargain! + a couple of permanent pens in any colour you want!

And this is what I did...

What you'll need:

a pencil

a pair of white tennis shoes

a couple of permanent pens

your imagination!

Now they may not be the most permanent, stylish and dirt proof shoes but I'm in love! I even bought a second pair so I can mix and match between them!
