What a way to spend the day!

 

I spent the afternoon with the very talented Jo Gross (The Handmade Nursery soon to be Floating on the Breeze) on a cupcake decorating workshop!

Let me tell you... They almost didn't get to the decorating stage!!!

We learnt how to pipe and make sugar decorations- So different to polymer clay and... not as easy!

They have given me some inspiration to take onto my own beads so keep your eyes open for some new work from me!

Let me introduce myself...

Hi, I'm Jess

I'm terrible at having my photo taken.

I suppose I should tell you a little abut myself...

I've just turned 20 years old and how scary is that to no longer be a teenager! I'll tell you how scary I almost peed my pants. Metaphorically! I live in a city just outside London, you'd think "exciting!" but no. 

I spend most of my time working from home on my Etsy shop (as of a few weeks ago anyway) and the rest of my time studying Fashion Design BA.

I LOVE polymer clay and my man of choice (^^^-isn't he yummy! he'll kill me for saying that!)

I have a bad temper, never wear the same thing twice and dance like the wonderful kate bush-she's a dream boat. I love my cameras and tea, but not at the same time (so  so so clumsy). I only wear my socks inside out and I'm always falling over.

I am the epitome of grace! All in all, I'm very pleased to meet you :)

I spent yesterday baking away to make a Simnel cake for Easter! (Yes this one is actually REAL and not polymer clay!) It didn't last long so I couldn't get any better photos- I good sign I think!

New work!

Today I started my first on line jewelry range of inedible miniature edible looking doll house replica (you get the idea) necklaces and earrings! It's not like I haven't made jewelry before but putting it online is so much more.... scary! It's intimidating seeing all the beautiful work out there and then putting mine out there too! Does anyone agree?

Weekend and today!

This weekend I celebrated my birthday! No longer a teenager! We spent the day in London but what a cold day it was, Easter seems to be everywhere...

Today!

 I also started my NEW(!!!) exciting range of buttons, they may seem quite plain at the moment but soon I will add new more complex ones as sales increase.. Take a look here!

Over the next few days I will be working on a few tutorials and also a range of necklaces to add to my shop! BUSY BUSY BUSY!!!
